AJ What's your product? AT Oh Spice of the Month. Sorry. AJ Okay. And I'm [removed]. Nice to meet you. I would shake your hand but Okay. Good. Thank you. So, what product are you here to show me today? AT Today I'm here with spice of the month. AJ Okay. AT What it is is I don't know if you've heard of graze at all. A graze box AJ A graze box? Yes. AT It's a very similar idea to that, but instead of totally healthy things, we've got our spices. And it's kind of to combat that fast food industry where you're going out, you're buying your Indian or a Chinese or all the time that we provide the spices in the exact quantities that you need, let you know what you need to put with it, and it is an easy, quick meal that you can make for yourself. AJ Okay. AT We're kind of keeping it down to maybe one or two extra ingredients that you need to get for yourself. So, you know, just chicken and an onion and you're good to go, or something kind of similar. We're keeping the price of the extras that you need to get down to just a couple of pounds for the extras that you need to get for it. And you can choose your spices that you want to get so you just choose the meal that you want to make. You can get them delivered once a month, once a week or even every day if you really wanted to. AJ Okay. Yes. AT It contains four spices, so four different things that you need to put in, and detailed instructions of exactly when to put them in and how toa actually make it AJ So it's good for, like, cooking phobes and people like that. People who maybe will order a takeaway once a week in Indian or Chinese or something like that. AT Yes. Exactly. Yes. It's to stop them from thinking that they can't do it because everyone can cook but they just don't realise it yet AJ Yes. Definitely AT But yes. That's basically the idea of it. It's basically to get people back into that healthy cooking thing. AJ Yes. AT To make sure they know what they can do, and hopefully to encourage them to branch out a bit, try something a bit different, not your bog standard korma. AJ Yes. No. I do think it's an excellent idea. Actually, I think are you retailing this product at the minute? Because there's a product called on not on the high street that sounds very familiar, and I think that's called spice of the month as well. AT Yes. AJ And you kind of buy a subscription to it. So, would that be something that you would be looking at? So, you would buy six months, like six AT Yes. Exactly. And you get six different instalments. We're looking at kind of retailing it quite cheap at £4, you know, for all of your spices. You're good to go. We're looking at feeding four people AJ Okay. AT But you can also buy an option if you want it less, for less amount of people. But we're looking at making sure that we serve both the individual and the family, make sure that those children are getting their healthy foods and they're getting what they need. AJ Yes. Definitely. I'm sure spicy foods like that they are good for you and a lot of people don't recognise that. They think, oh, spice. Spice is not very good. But it does. It gets rid of all the bad toxins in your system. AT Yes. And building up a tolerance to spice when you're a child is really important. When you get to kind of and you're still eating a korma, then you're never going to get AJ My housemate's like that. No. I completely agree. So what kind of, like, cultures and things would you be looking at expanding? AT We're looking at kind of Thai at the minute. We're doing Thai, and your Indian, your Chinese. That kind of AJ Yes. AT But, you know, we're looking at kind of branching out, into like Malaysian foods. Really contrasting AJ Oh yes. That would be really interesting. That would be really interesting. Because a lot of people wouldn't know how to start a recipe, what's contained in it, anything like that, and I think that would be a really, really good idea. I also think that what you might look into I don't know if this happens already is something about the calorie count of the meal. AT Yes, definitely. AJ Because I think a lot of people do watch their calories, especially at this time of the year, when it's just after Christmas and everyone's kind of overfilled, over ate. AT Overdone it. AJ And then they're kind of like, ooh, this meal is less than calories if we make it with this. AT Yes. With the right ingredients. And we'll be kind of advising on the right oils to use and making sure that we're not saying, you know, put a whole heap of vegetable oil in it. AJ Yes. No. That's a really good idea. AT Another thing that we're kind of looking at doing is that when you do sign up for months we'll give you a little binder. And what that will do is, when you do get your spices, it will have a little sheet in it, which shows all the ingredients that are used and the ingredients that you need. Put it in your little binder and next time that you want to make it, you might not have all the spices but then you go to Tesco. Get your spices and read the recipe sheet AJ Yes. That's a really good idea, actually. I had another question but it's completely gone out of my mind. AT Oh sorry AJ I genuinely had It was there and it's just disappeared. Oh. Vegetarians. So, would you be providing, like so, you could say substitute chicken for peppers or something like that because obviously you don't want to exclude that market, because it's kind of vegetarianism is becoming really kind of central. AT Yes. They are. It's kind of like sweet potato, that kind of like But we'll also be providing a balanced diet, so we'll definitely be getting into the soy beans and making sure that if you're not eating meat that your substitute has got protein in it. AJ Yes. I think that would definitely be an area of interest, then, because then if you've got kind of the same spices. Because when you have the same spice you can just add any food but it's just collecting the spices and things like that. AT I think it's getting people to know that they can add anything to anything and it will be fine. AJ So when would you be looking at retailing this? Like, at what time of the year or just all year round or AT All year round. We're looking at obviously
