File Naming Convention ---------------------- File naming follows the following convention: fcmg0-A1-t.wav The first field ("fcmg0") is a prefix representing a unique ID number for the speaker. The second field ("A1") indicates both which letter was spoken for that particular file, and which of the two productions the file represents (each speaker made two productions of each letter). File Formats ------------ The data were recorded from an analog line using a Gradient Technologies analog-to-digital conversion box. The .wav file format used is the RIFF standard file format. This file format is 16-bit linearly encoded.
