This corpus consists of a SpatialML-tagged Mandarin subset of the LDC's ACE 2005 Multilingual Training Corpus (LDC2006T06). The subset contains 298 documents.

Please note that it was tagged in 2008-9 for The MITRE Corporation by a single annotator (a native speaker of Mandarin) with an early version of SpatialML, guidelines version 2.3, which are also included in this release (in both pdf and Microsoft Word formats). 

The guidelines have evolved since then: the latest version is version 3.1, available on sourceforge.net/projects/spatialml .

This corpus has been Approved by The MITRE Corporation for Public Release, Distribution Unlimited (Case Number 09-4262).
