This repository contains a corpus of spontaneous conversations and radio news stories annotated with the Rhythm and Pitch (RaP) annotation scheme, developed by Laura Dilley and Meredith Brown (Dilley & Brown, 2005). The CALLHOME folder contains approximately 13 minutes of speech taken from the CALLHOME American English Speech corpus (catalog.ldc.upenn.edu/LDC97S42) and their associated Praat textgrids. The BURSC folder contains approximately 14 minutes of speech taken from the Boston University Radio Speech Corpus (catalog.ldc.upenn.edu/LDC96S36) and their associated soundfiles. Many files in this sub-corpus feature the same news story read by two or more radio announcers.
