This is the CD-ROM release of the Japanese Business News Text Supplement
published by the Linguistic Data Consortium. This release contains text
from Nihon Kezai Shimbun, Inc. (NIKKEI) and Telerate, Inc. (formerly 
known as Dow Jones/Kyodo News Service). The NIKKEI data covers from
December 1993 to November 1994 as seen on the original Japanese Businees 
News Text published by the LDC in June 1995. The Kyodo data covers from
December 1994 through August 1998. The kyodo data from June, 1995 to 
September, 1998, serves as a supplement to the older publication.
